David ChlebnaCampus Principal

I have been involved in the Alpine School Program since 2001 and I can’t think of a better teaching job for me. I love living and working in the alpine environment in Dinner Plain. My passion is inspiring young people to get the best out of themselves during their time at our school. As the curriculum co-ordinator I relish the opportunity to work with a group of staff to create a program each term that enables students to learn, experience and grow. This occurs through students being challenged and supported through a curriculum that focusses on the needs of young people today.

I have found my place at the Alpine School, working in the mountains, with talented, motivated young people who continually surprise and inspire us all. The best part is the community spirit, the camaraderie, the life-long friendships, the jokes, the good times, the sad times, and the fun of doing everything together. The learning that takes place here is truly transformational.
