The intention is that they are to be accessed by liaisons in order to create realistic, manageable student owned CLP projects - the ruMAD site has the 8 keys to madness which is of particular help. In order to access the 8 keys to madness, teachers or facilitators need to register and then access TOOLKIT.

CLP Projects - Term 1 2015
During Term 1, the following Community Learning Projects (CLP) related to their home communities as part of the School for Student Leadership program have been nominated and are being developed by each of the School Teams:
  • Wanganui Park Secondary College - Transition from Primary School to High School video
  • Doncaster Secondary College - Video educating towards the balance between social media and reality for teenagers
  • East Doncaster Secondary College - Operation Pen Pal (Primary students writing to elderly)
  • Nathalia Secondary College - Connecting Youth with the elderly residents at Barwo homestead.
  • McGuire College - Building a cultural library to promote understanding
  • Scoresby Secondary College - Love for the less fortunate (aware of disadvantaged animals and people)
  • Brentwood Secondary College - Mission Transition' - To make Year 6’s comfortable with their transition into high school.
  • Yarrawonga P-12 College - Producing a book for the Anzac Centenary

During Term 3, the following Community Learning Projects (CLP) related to their home communities as part of the School for Student Leadership program have been nominated and are being developed by each of the School Teams:
  • Hawkesdale P12 College - Raise awareness of the Alpine School to Year 8's and raise money to support students attending
  • Rosehill SC - Helping the local Primary School develop social skills
  • Ararat Secondary College - Bridging the gap' initiative between the elderly and local youth
  • Daylesford SC - Restoring their locla basketball courts
  • Mortlake College - Revamping their gymnasium within their school
  • Taylors Lakes SC - Raising awareness of scoliosis
  • Nhill College - Operation celebration'. Thanking the local SES, CFA and Ambulance services within Nhill
  • Warracknabeal SC - Holding a Fun Run to raise money and awareness to donate to the Cancer Council
  • Warrnambool College - Activities integrating the Special Development School into their local community

CLP Projects - Term 2 2014

During Term 2, the following Community Learning Projects (CLP) related to their home communities as part of the School for Student Leadership program have been confirmed and are being developed by each of the School Teams:

  • Blackburn High School – Holding a photo competition to promote positive health
  • Melton SC – Raising money and awareness for the Orange Pigeon Foundation
  • Western Heights College – Vines Campus – Holding a Horror theme movie night to raise money
  • Camperdown College – Holding a diversity awareness day at their school
  • Canterbury Girls SC – Promoting Literacy within their community
  • Colac SC – Painting a wall at the local kindergarten
  • Terang College – Upgrading sporting facilities at the Terang Sports Centre
  • Wellington SC – Raising awareness for environmental sustainability and water conservation
  • Bellarine SC – Working on creating a community where the children can feel more confident and gain a sense of achievement
  • Templestowe College – Hosting a world dinner to raise money for World Vision

During Term 1, the following Community Learning Projects (CLP) related to their home communities as part of the School for Student Leadership program have been developed by each of the School Teams:
  • Alexandra Secondary College – Raising money for endangered animals
  • Wallan Secondary College – Making Wallan feel beautiful – producing a booklet / video
  • McGuire College – Promoting McGuire College - Open Day and Fete
  • Princes Hill Secondary College – Holding an art expression exhibition for asylum seekers
  • Viewbank College – To promote reading and buy new books for their school
  • Northcote High School – Fundraise money to buy sleeping swags for homeless people in the Melbourne CBD.
  • Gladstone Park Secondary College – Raise money for a memorial plaque
  • Nathalia Secondary College – Improve the outdoor sporting facilities at their school
  • Benalla P12 College – Create a welcome sign for Benalla

CLP Projects - Term 4B 2013
During Term 4B, the following Community Learning Projects (CLP) related to their home communities as part of the School for Student Leadership program have been developed by each of the School Teams:
  • Lavers Hill P- 12 College – Establishing a breakfast club at the school canteen
  • Terang College – Running an outdoor movie screening for the community
  • Diamond Valley College – Helping the elderly use and learn from I Pads
  • Princes Hill Secondary College – Running a multi-cultural day
  • Brauer College – Raising funds to support “Peters Project’ to establish a Cancer Centre in Warrnambool
  • Northcote High School – A month 4 green – focusing on teaching outside of the classroom
  • Hume Central Secondary College – Producing a video promotion of the Hume City region
  • Warrnambool College – Fundraising for the RSPCA
